Seyahat kisminda ilk yazim Atina ile ilgili olunca sizlere oradayken tanistigim ve bayildigim bir markadan bahsetmek istedim. Korres, 1973 yilinda o zamanlar 8 yasinda olan George Korres'in annesinin eczanesinde bulunan urunlerle oynarken buyudugunde kendi kremlerini yapacagini duyurmasiyla ortaya cikmis cok tatlis bir marka. Kahramanimiz George bu karari dogrultusunda Yunanistan'da eczacilik egitimi aliyor ve 1996 yilinda markasi Korres'in ilk adimlarini atiyor. O gunden beri de sadece dogal ve sertifikali organik ham maddeler ile uretilen urunlerini tuketicilerine sunuyor.

Since my first Travel post was about Athens, I also wanted to write about a brand that I met when I was there. Korres was established by 8-year-old George Korres in 1973 by saying that one day he'll make his own face creams while he was playing with ingredients and products at his mother’s pharmacy. After that, our little hero George, studies Pharmacology in Greece to pursue his dream and creates the brand Korres in 1996. Since then, they offer products to their customers with only made of natural and certified organic ingredients.

Korres'in urun skalasi gunumuzde cok genis, dus jellerinden vucut-el kremlerine, ojeden parfume, eyelinerdan ruja kadar bir suru secenek var. Ben her Yunanistan gezimde bir magazasina mutlaka ugruyorum, asagidaki resimde de gorebileceginiz uzere ev Korres dolu. Favori urunlerim ise Bergamot Pear kokulu Bodymilki, Salatalikli Yorgunluk Giderici Gozalti Maskesi ve bir bagimlisi oldugum Eyeliner'i...

You can find many products in Korres, from shower gels to bodymilks-hand creams, from nail polishes to perfumes, from eyeliners to lip balms. I stop at a Korres shop everytime I've been to Greece. I have pretty much everything as you can see from the below picture but my favorite items are Bergamot Pear Bodymilk, Cucumber Anti-Fatigue Eye Mask and it's Eyeliner which has become an addiction.
